Endoscopic spine surgery

Ultra Minimally Invasive — Endoscopic Spine Surgery

Mr Madi specialises in advanced endoscopic spinal surgery and completed fellowship training in South Korea under Professors Hyeun-Sung Kim and Dong Hwa Heo, internationally recognised pioneers in the field. He is an international speaker, author of peer-reviewed research and textbook chapters, and regularly teaches and proctors surgeons in endoscopic techniques. Using Precision Technology — including 3D navigation, high-definition endoscopy and advanced radiofrequency systems — he treats conditions such as disc prolapse, sciatica, spinal stenosis, recurrent disc herniation and selected cervical nerve compression. His goal is simple: effective nerve decompression through the least invasive approach possible, preserving normal anatomy, maintaining spinal motion where appropriate and helping patients recover more quickly.

Scoliosis surgery — intra-operative

Scoliosis & Spinal Deformity

Mr Madi specialises in the assessment and treatment of scoliosis and spinal deformity in both children and adults. He works closely with patients and families to understand not only the curve itself, but how it may affect growth, function, appearance, confidence and long-term spinal health. Every patient receives an individualised assessment, considering factors such as age, remaining growth, curve pattern and the likelihood of progression. For many patients, treatment begins with careful monitoring and guidance on the natural history of their condition, helping families make informed decisions at the right time. When surgery is required, the aim is not simply to straighten the spine, but to achieve a safe, balanced correction while preserving as many motion segments as possible. Advanced technologies including 3D navigation, neuromonitoring and modern surgical planning are used to maximise accuracy and safety. Private patients benefit from treatment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, one of the world's leading orthopaedic centres and an internationally recognised specialist scoliosis unit. Care is supported by dedicated spinal radiology, specialist nursing, physiotherapy and theatre teams who manage spinal deformity patients every day. From diagnosis through adulthood, Mr Madi provides long-term support, clear expectations and continuity of care to help patients and families navigate every stage of their scoliosis journey.

Second Opinions

A second opinion is about confidence. Whether surgery has been recommended, treatment is not working as expected, or there are multiple options available, patients often want reassurance that they are making the right decision. Mr Madi provides independent second opinions for a wide range of spinal conditions, including disc prolapse, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, spinal deformity and revision surgery. His approach is to carefully review the symptoms, imaging, previous treatments and proposed plans before explaining the available options in clear, understandable terms.
